A SURREAL MULTI-MEDIA COMEDY THAT DIGS INTO A WAR TO END ALL WARS.
Entrenched is an absurd physcial comedy that begins in the nightmare of the First World War trenches and from there zigzags into our collective chambers where we remember things we’ve never done.
Inspiration for the piece was taken from the original drawings of Major Guy Laing Bradley, a Hexham man who served with the Northumberland Fusiliers. He was a talented artist who kept a comprehensive set of journals containing writing and sketches depicting life on the frontline at Ypres.
Generous and funny...energetic and skilled.
